Department of Geomatics Engineering offers Bachelors degrees in the following disciplines:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Geomatics Engineering

Programs related to Geomatics Engineering at Kathmandu University are conducted in co-ordination with Land Management Training Center (LMTC), Government of Nepal. Several scholarships and quotas are available to the candidates of BE in Geomatics Engineering based on agreement with LMTC.

1. As per the agreement signed between Kathmandu University and LMTC, on 2076/03/09, following quota and scholarships are available in BE in Geomatics Engineering:

2. Based on ‘Working procedure for student’s admission in BE in Geomatics Engineering 2019’, the details of each category and the necessary documents needed to verify the applicability of each quotas is listed below:

  • Transcript and certificate of SEE and +2 indicating candidate study from community/government school or the proof of studied under scholarship
  • Copy of citizenship certificate
  • Transcript and certificate of SEE and +2 indicating candidate studied from other school and  should submit letter from the school showing he/she studied in economically deprived quota or  under scholarship

3. Candidates seeking admission in any above mentioned quotas except open merit in Geomatics engineering must be ready to submit the attested copies/original (as instructed in further notice) of the required documents when notified within a short period of time.
